The CRC delivers a range of services to children and adults with disabilities both nationally and locally through our centres in Dublin, Limerick and Waterford and our Outreach Services. The mission of the CRC is that by working together we make a positive difference to the lives of people with disabilities, their families and carers. Head of Operational Services

Five Year Contract, General Manager Grade, Full-time 37 hours per week (Monday to Sunday roster).  Flexibility to work some evening & weekends is essential. 

The Head of Operational Services in the CRC is a new and exciting position which will support the work of the CEO by taking lead responsibility for overseeing the day to day operations of the CRC.  As a member of the Senior Management and Leadership Team of the CRC, the post holder will be joining a dynamic, visionary and caring team.

The successful candidate will contribute to strategic planning and change leadership both in the context of current operational performance and also in respect of the future of CRC. They will plan and drive significant operational initiatives including supporting the development of the Integrated Quality framework for the CRC to deliver the CRC’s Strategic Plan Towards 2021.

Applicants for this position must have the following essential requirements;

  • a minimum of a primary degree in a relevant area (QQI Level 8)
  • a minimum of five years management experience working within a health/disability environment
  • a proven track record in the management and delivery of projects
  • demonstrated proven ability in the successful management of a staff team
  • drivers licence and access to transport

The following requirements are desirable;

  • experience in a senior leadership role
  • post graduate qualification (QQI Level 9) in a relevant area
  • experience of operational budgeting and planning
