Senior HR Management Opportunities
The Irish Civil Service is a large complex organisation employing over 37,000 people in approximately 40 Government Departments and offices and a range of other bodies. Every day the Civil Service makes a vital contribution to Irish life. Everything the Civil Service does - from carrying out the work of Government to delivering frontline public services – impacts Ireland in some way.
Applications are sought from suitably qualified and experienced individuals interested in senior HR management roles (Principal Officer Level) in the Civil Service. A vacancy currently exists in the National Shared Services Office and it is envisaged that future vacancies across the Civil Service may be filled from this competition.
The successful candidate will have:
- Significant senior level experience in HR, both policy and operational, preferably in a large complex organisation in either the private or public sector;
- A proven track record of managing and implementing significant and successful change;
- A proven track record of providing strong and demonstrable leadership in an organisation undergoing significant organisational, cultural and business change;
- A well developed knowledge of the challenges across the IR/ER spectrum coupled with strong ability to guide workforce planning.
