Our client is an exciting new health foundation based in Dublin, which raises funds for investment in healthcare and wellness. It does this through collaboration with local communities, philanthropic donors and partners. It occupies a unique strategic position, has a strong financial base and is supported by donors in Ireland and overseas. The Board is committed to an ambitious programme of growth which will make this organisation an exemplar in philanthropy, health impact and good governance. We are seeking a Chief Executive Officer with the capability to lead an international growth plan.

The Role

The CEO will have strong strategic planning, team building and business development skills. They will develop the capacity to generate multimillion annual income and deliver projects in the order of €50m. They will be a collaborative leader capable of working in and across multiple highly skilled professional groups.

The CEO will possess the ability to:

•  Build and manage a world-class team

•  Develop, pitch and secure broad support for high value projects.

•  Lead collaborative programmes across multiple agencies

The successful candidate will have extensive senior management experience, preferably at CEO or senior executive level. The CEO will exhibit a strong sense of self-direction, entrepreneurial zeal and personal charisma. S/he will have an inherent ability to lead and influence broad and diverse communities of people. They will be comfortable operating at the highest levels of business internationally.

Ideally, the successful candidate will have experience of fundraising and a good understanding of philanthropy. Knowledge of national and international healthcare systems would be a strong advantage. 

This is a highly visible role and the CEO will be accountable to a large and diverse group of stakeholders.
