Head of Information Security (Principal Level)
The Department of Employment Affairs and Social Protection is seeking to appoint a Principal as Head of Information Security in Dublin.
Working as part of the ISD Management Board, the person appointed to the role will be responsible for leading all aspects of technical information security and ensuring information security best practice is applied consistently in relation to new and existing projects/ programmes. This is a senior role within DEASP and the successful candidate will play a key role in the initiation, day to day management and delivery of all ICT projects and programmes within the remit of DEASP ISD. Ideal candidates will be experienced managers, with high levels of energy, drive, resilience and motivation and the proven ability to deliver objectives.
The Head of Information Security (Principal) is a senior managerial grade in the Department of Employment Affairs and Social Protection and is a critical post in terms of ensuring quality service delivery to the public. Principals are key participants in the senior management processes of the Department of Employment Affairs and Social Protection with a critical influencing role in implementing and driving organisational change.

- Minimum Experience Required (Years):5 Minimum Qualification: Level 8 (incl Higher Diploma & Honours Bachelor Degree) Specialising In: strategic it systems;technical information security Languages: English C2-Master (Fluent)
