Senior Lecturer in Commercial Law
Applications are invited for the post of Senior Lecturer in Commercial Law at the School of Law, NUI Galway. The area of commercial law is broadly defined and includes but is not limited to the following areas: commercial law, international commercial law, taxation law, company law, European Union economic law, corporate governance, insurance law, international trade law, consumer law and financial regulation).
The successful candidate will play a leading role in advancing the School’s national and international profile in commercial law, including leadership on the School’s LLM in International & Comparative Business Law and Bachelor of Law & Business. The successful applicant will have an excellent track record of research in the area of commercial law (broadly defined). Applicants will normally have a Ph.D in the a relevant area of law and extensive experience of teaching and learning at the University level. The successful candidate will be expected to contribute teaching primarily to commercial law at the undergraduate and postgraduate level and will have discretion to develop new modules.
