Established Professor of Law
The School of Law seeks to appoint an Established Chair in Law. The post will be based in the School of Law and applications are particularly welcome from world-class scholars in the fields of Disability Law, Equality Law or European Union Law.
The successful candidate will be an exceptional scholar who will play a leading role in advancing the School’s national and international profile. Applicants will normally have a Ph.D in law and extensive experience of teaching and learning at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. The successful candidate will have significant published research output in leading journals. Applicants must have strong interpersonal and communication skills and a willingness to take the initiative and play a leadership role in the School of Law and its research centres the Centre for Disability Law & Policy and the Irish Centre for Human Rights. The successful candidate will contribute to teaching and examining; engage in scholarship and research; assist with administration and the development of the School of Law’s strategic plan; and contribute to the intellectual life of the University and the wider community.
