SOLAS, the Further Education and Training Authority in Ireland, is seeking to appoint a new Director of Strategy & Evaluation – Reference 183

Applications are invited for this post which is being filled on a
permanent full time basis.

This senior management role is within the Strategy and Knowledge division in SOLAS and reports to the Executive Director of Strategy & Knowledge. The purpose of this unit is to drive the development of future strategy for further education and training (FET) and its positioning within the wider education and training landscape. Overseeing a team of approximately 20 people across three SOLAS business units, the Skills and Labour Market  Research Unit (SLMRU), the Data Analytics Unit and the Strategy and Evaluation Unit, this is an excellent opportunity for an experienced senior executive interested in influencing the direction of a critical sector at a time of significant change. 

Previous experience of working in a national role would be an
advantage and the ability to demonstrate high level influencing
skills is a must.
