Lecturer in Clinical Psychology
Applications are invited for the position of Lecturer in Clinical Psychology, School of Psychology.
2 year Fixed Term Contract.
Applications are sought for the fixed term full-time post of Lecturer (Above the Bar) in Clinical Psychology, to fulfil teaching, research supervision, and clinical placement monitoring duties on the Doctor of Psychological Science in Clinical Psychology Programme. The Lecturer in Clinical Psychology will have primary responsibilities within the Doctoral Training Programme in Clinical Psychology. A particularly important responsibility of the Lecturer will be to assist in coordinating clinical placement aspects of the programme. All clinical members of the programme team are required, as part of their duties, to undertake placement visits to evaluate the progress of trainee clinical psychologists. The Lecturer will take an active role in clinical supervisor training and take a lead with developing and implementing, personal and professional development initiatives for trainees. Applicants must hold a professional qualification in clinical psychology recognised by the Psychological Society of Ireland and will preferably hold a doctoral-level qualification in psychology (which may have been obtained as part of the professional qualification).
