Applications are invited for the position of Senior Lecturer in Biochemistry (Cell Biology of Meiosis), College of Science.
Applications are now invited for an appointment as Senior Lecturer in Biochemistry, with a particular focus on the cell and molecular biology of germ cell development and meiosis in model systems. Candidates for this post should have a PhD and high-level international research experience in germ cell development and meiosis, particularly using a model system. Candidates are expected to outline how their research and teaching interests align with existing research within the Discipline of Biochemistry and the School of Natural Sciences. Successful applicants will have a strong track record of peer-reviewed publication and a demonstrated capacity to compete for external national and international research funding. Applications are particularly welcome from applicants with experience in undergraduate and graduate teaching activities.
