- Full Time
The Royal Victoria Eye & Ear Hospital (RVEEH) is Ireland’s national hospital for eye and ear, nose and throat disorders. As a dedicated ophthalmic and ENT surgical hospital it treats over 100,000 patients per year. The hospital ranked 1st in patient satisfaction in last year’s National Care Experience Survey and is one of only two public hospitals in Ireland to be accredited by the Joint Commission International (JCI).
Demand for the services of the hospital is rapidly increasing with the aging of our demographic. Ophthalmology is now the number one specialty by volume of patients waiting for medical procedures. This problem can only be resolved for the future by increasing infrastructural capacity. The Hospital is embarking on an exciting capital development campaign which will transform the hospital and the care it provides for its patients. We are seeking to appoint a Chief Executive of the Hospital’s Foundation, who will lead this development campaign.
This is an ambitious project, requiring someone with strategic acumen, motivational leadership and high-level relationship skills. Suitable candidates will have experience of capital fundraising in either philanthropy or business and a track record of seven figure plus deal making.
The successful candidate will have exceptional drive and a strong interest in the transformation this project will bring to healthcare. They will be self-directed and have the ability to shape a campaign and team from new.
You will be supported by a high-profile governing council and the resources required to deliver this campaign. An attractive remuneration package is on offer.
