Operating across locations in Carlow, Wexford, Wicklow and Dublin the Institute has almost 10,000 learners and staff with a significant international learner cohort. We offer a broad range of undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Science, Engineering, Business, Humanities and Computing. Key research strengths include Computer Games Development, Bio-Environmental Technologies, Product Design, Social Sciences, Sport  Sciences, Health Sciences, Engineering Technologies and Education. 

We are seeking highly motivated, talented and ambitious individuals to join our team in delivering the Technological University of South East Ireland.

Management Position


In pursuit of our strategic goals and vision, we prioritise evidenced-based policy making, strategic planning, project management, performance monitoring and benchmarking with national and international exemplars. Within this broader context, we seek to recruit an exceptional individual to lead our Office of Institutional Planning and Research. The Director of the Office of Institutional Planning & Research will support and work with the President and Senior Management team in ensuring the Institute’s further development towards its vision for University designation.

Successful applicants must have a relevant Honours Degree (First or Second class) or equivalent, plus a relevant higher qualification (Masters or PhD) or equivalent professional qualification.

Applicants will also have at least five years relevant postgraduate experience.

The above post may be filled on a temporary or permanent basis, unless otherwise specified.

Salary scales include an increase of 2% as applicable from 1st October 2020 to whole time annual basic salaries as per the terms of the Public Service Stability Agreement 2018 – 2020.
