We are currently seeking a Cybersecurity Manager to join our Security Review Team who will provides support to teams assigned to cyber security problems that may be diverse and highly complex. The Cybersecurity Manager provides oversight to selecting methods and techniques for identifying and advocating effective cyber security solutions.

Role overview & key responsibilities:

The Security Review Team Manager will be a member of our internally facing, corporate Cybersecurity Consulting organization with responsibility for managing and supporting a team of internal team members responsible for reviewing requests for new technologies and also including the review of Firewall, Proxy and other Security Infrastructure-related requests through standard processes.

You will:

  • Consults with internal teams and provides guidance and/or solutions on: Application/Infrastructure Network Security, Infrastructure Design Requirements, risk associated with initiatives and policy deviation requests, compliance implications of design decisions in application and infrastructure designs.

  • Manages policy exception requests through standard review and dispensation processes.

  • Ensures customer satisfaction through professional consulting engagement and use of a risk-based approach

  • Investigates complex, and sometimes historic practices/solutions to discover gaps and needed improvements and facilitates migration to a preferred state.

  • Works with Business and Sr. Management as required and facilitate resolution to difficult business problems /aims in a secure way.

  • Develops and maintain comprehensive documentation of engagements performed and risks and/or issues identified.

Essential Requirements 

  • Previous experience in information security or similar roles

  • CISSP, CISM or other advanced security certifications

  • Proven experience in supporting exceptional, highly skilled technical personnel and projects with strong ability to prioritize tasks and deliverables as necessary

  • Understands adversarial techniques and industry trends

Desirable Qualifications

  • Related relevant experience OR degree in Information Systems

  • Individuals with relevant Security, ITIL certifications preferred
