Chief Information Officer
Iarnród Éireann (IÉ) is currently seeking to appoint a newly created Chief Information Officer (CIO) to be a member of the IÉ Senior Leadership Team.
Providing both passenger and freight rail services, Irish Rail delivers vital services to the movement and accessibility of Ireland. As the CIO, you will contribute to the overall strategic vision of IÉ and play a vital role in the innovative approach to business decisions.
In this role, you will lead and oversee the enterprise wide digital vision and strategy, as well as drive change through technology to deliver on the business strategy. This high-profile opportunity will play a vital role in establishing high-performance IT capabilities and influence stakeholders to achieve success.
Your previous experience will demonstrate the ability to lead business changes driven by technology in a large transport organisation or a related industry. In your new position you will report to the CEO, and as such you will be able to demonstrate executive level leadership in building a successful technology vision and roadmap. Partnering with key stakeholders and critical business units, you will have a proven track record in strategic thinking and realizing commercial opportunities through technology.
