Job Purpose

As an instrumental member of the Senior Management Team, the HR Manager will be responsible for all aspects of HR strategy and delivery thereby fostering growth, innovation and employee engagement & retention across the business.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • Create HR strategies and programmes to support business objectives
  • Models compliance with company policies and procedures and supports company mission, values, and industry standards
  • Ensure Employee Handbook and all HR policies/processes/ procedures are kept up to date with legislation and best practice
  • Design and implement employee engagement initiatives to support employee retention strategies
  • Develop and implement company corporate culture and promote healthy & high EQ work environments across the company
  • Implement HR automation processes
  • Provide advice, assistance and guidance to members of management on all HR management issues
  • Facilitates educational and interactive sessions across the company (staff rep meetings etc.)
  • Respond to HR queries and requests in a responsive and comprehensive manner
  • Documents and reports employee relations activities and shared trends (absence, holidays etc.)
  • Provide written and verbal reports as required

Person Specification

  • A high sense of urgency and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and organisation skills with the ability to communicate effectively with employees at all levels of the organisation
  • Innovative with the ability to recognise process improvements
  • Outstanding project management, presentation and communication skills

Qualifications and Experience

  • CIPD qualified or a degree in Human Resources is essential
  • 3+ years post qualification work experience within HR Management
  • Experience in heavily regulated industry specifically compliance & Health & Safety is desirable
  • Experience in building HR function, strategy and successful management of HR practices
  • Experience in creating and promoting great culture and workplace practices

Other

  • As at times you will be required to visit sites throughout Ireland, a full drivers licence is essential
