IRFU - Chief Executive Officer Munster Rugby
Munster Rugby is a professional sports organisation with a squad that competes in the European Rugby Champions Cup, the PRO14 and the Celtic Cup. The organisation represents all domestic rugby in the province of Munster and is one of four primary branches of the Irish Rugby Football Union. One of the most successful and respected club sides in world rugby, Munster Rugby have won two European Cups, three League titles, a Celtic Cup and have reached a record 18 European Cup quarterfinals.
The IRFU wish to appoint a new Chief Executive to head up Munster Rugby.
Their key focus is to provide leadership and direction in the management of all aspects of professional and domestic rugby in Munster.
He/She will develop and oversee the implementation of strategic plans and programmes in the areas of Professional Rugby, Domestic Rugby, Commercial and Marketing, Communications, HR, Finance and Operations that are consistent with the strategic objectives of the IRFU and Munster Rugby.
The role requires inspirational leadership skills and a proven track record in the development and motivation of results focused teams. The successful candidate will have a sense of purpose and mission, and demonstratable passion and urgency. He/She will have knowledge and understanding of Irish Rugby - both the domestic game and the professional game.
