Microsoft-UCD Digital Policy Programme
With generous support from Microsoft Ireland, UCD is establishing the Microsoft-UCD Digital Policy Programme to be hosted at UCD with the goal of building a digital policy capability in Ireland and Europe. The programme aims to fulfil the demand for digital policy knowledge and skills in the policy ecosystem, including the public service in Ireland and the wider European Union. It will incorporate features that fill this need in the short term, while
also building a sustainable pipeline of skills for long-term impact. The programme will build on existing expertise and curriculum already offered at UCD, while also recruiting fresh talent to develop and oversee its success.
In support of the Microsoft-UCD Digital Policy Programme UCD seeks to recruit a Lecturer/Assistant Professor in the interdisciplinary field of Digital Policy.
This post is temporary and will be appointed on a five-year basis in UCD School of Information and Communication Studies. Candidates with interest and experience in research and education in the interdisciplinary field of Digital Policy are welcomed from across any of the main disciplines which bear on the field.
