Interim Head of Human Resources

In Ireland, its 400+ academic staff currently offer over 100 accredited programmes at undergraduate and postgraduate level to its 9,000 + student base. Its graduates have progressed to successful careers and many occupy senior positions in professional and commercial institutions, both in Ireland and overseas. 

We are seeking an exceptional Interim HR professional with the capability, vision and leadership skills to help oversee the organisation's HR operations for a period of 6 to 9 months during this exciting maternity leave assignment.

The Role:

Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the appointed person will work in a leadership capacity with the Human Resources Team to support key functions and elements of the organisation at both a strategic and operational level.    You will also form part of the Irish Management Team and will work closely with other leaders within the organisation.

The Person:

The ideal candidate for this position will have significant experience (7-10 years) across a broad HR remit including involvement in resource planning, recruitment, performance management, succession planning, employee relations, employee development and detailed collation and analysis of management information.  You will possess a relevant third level qualification with a focus on HR, corporate change, organisational behaviour, or equivalent.  You will possess an understanding of customer service and an appreciation of the requirements of a private educational institution within higher education or a similarly complex matrixed organisation is highly desirable.  A strong knowledge of employment law is essential.


This is a maternity cover, the remuneration package offered will be commensurate with the seniority of the position.
