In Ireland, Euronics consists of over 60 family owned and run specialist electronic, electrical and home appliance retailers. With a proud tradition of value and service, each retailer sells a variety of leading brands across all categories.

Euronics Ireland is now seeking to appoint a Chief Executive Officer to take full responsibility for its operation in Ireland. The role will work across all stakeholders to ensure that the Euronics brand and standards are promoted and enhanced amongst the Irish network of retail outlets. Reporting to the Board, The CEO will lead a small team of dedicated staff across sales, marketing, advertising, social media, IT, finance and operations.

The Chief Executive Officer will set the vision for the business in accordance with Euronics International, create the business strategy and execute against the agreed plan. Supported by a committed Board of Directors across the network, the Chief Executive Officer will drive activities to achieve targets in the areas of store standards, product mix, preferred supplier terms, promotional and marketing activities to enhance margin and profit amongst the member stores. The CEO will also ensure that maximum coverage is being achieved through social media channels in order to drive awareness and activity amongst the consumer market.

Relationship building and management with suppliers, members and industry participants will form a significant part of this role. The CEO will have a demonstrable track record of strategy development, people leadership, stakeholder management and business acumen in a strong commercial environment.

We are seeking to attract a high energy and ambitious individual who has a proven track record of achievement in a commercial and/or retail environment. A dynamic, highly collaborative and self-motivated work style is essential, supported by high personal standards in terms of quality, communications and the desire to succeed. Candidates will be educated to degree level or equivalent experience in an appropriate discipline.

A comprehensive remuneration package, reflecting the seniority of the role, will be offered to the successful candidate.
