Senior Lecturer in Preventive Medicine and Cardiovascular Health
Applications are invited for the position of Senior Lecturer in Preventive Medicine and Cardiovascular Health in the College of Medicine, Nursing and Health Sciences.
The purpose of this appointment is to advance the reputation of the College of Medicine, Nursing and Health Sciences as an international centre for world class education and research in preventive medicine and cardiovascular health. The successful candidate will provide visionary leadership and management as Director of Postgraduate Taught Programmes in preventive medicine and cardiovascular health, in developing and delivering a suite of Masters courses and take primary responsibility for the design, development and delivery of a brand new Masters programme in this area.
The successful candidate will be a qualified and registered clinician with a degree from a relevant medical or clinical speciality (e.g. Medicine, Nursing, Physiotherapy). The candidate must have at least 5 years clinical experience with specialist expertise relevant to non-communicable disease prevention and control. The candidate must also possess a higher degree (e.g. MD or PhD).
