Ireland’s leading medical newspaper, Irish Medical Times, is recruiting a new Editor to bring dynamic leadership to its fortnightly print and weekly online publications.

Established in 1967 by MPI Media, Irish Medical Times has built an unrivalled reputation over the past 50 years for its exclusive news reporting, in-depth analysis, provocative opinion and expert clinical content, all of which will the responsibility of the new Editor, who must have a proven track record both in journalism and management.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day running of both the newspaper and website – including the commissioning, editing and writing of copy, liaising with contributors, managing an editorial team, budgeting, coordinating commercial content, and taking the lead on developing new digital content in addition to producing special clinical publications, running regular seminars and taking a lead role in supporting our market leading Irish Healthcare Awards.
