HEAD OF DEVELOPMENT
The Head of Development in COPE Galway is a new role and is part of the senior management team, reporting to the CEO.
The overall objective of the role is to achieve the on-going financial security of COPE Galway through private & commercial revenue streams.
The ideal candidate for this role will be able to clearly demonstrate from past performance that they are capable of delivering significantly increasing and sustainable revenues for COPE Galway in support of our vision and mission.
The ideal candidate will:
- Possess strong business and commercial acumen, and ideally will have worked in a similar role and level previously and can demonstrate clear achievements and an ability to achieve reasonable but challenging targets.
- Have a track record of raising funds for an organisation, from a variety of means likely to include fundraising, commercial activities, philanthropic channels, etc.
- Be personable and engaging, and operate at a level which fosters good relationships, and opens doors, networks and connections with senior business people, executives, and decision makers across a wide range of sectors and stakeholder groups relevant to COPE Galway both internal and external.
- Have a 3rd level degree of relevance.
Terms & Conditions:
5 year contract initially. Salary commensurate with experience.
Successful Garda clearance is required for the position.
