Board Members Sought for the Rehab Group
The Rehab Group is one of Ireland's largest charities, providing a range of health and social care, training and education and employment opportunities annually for over 30,000 people with disabilities and other needs. Rehab has over 3,000 employees providing these services.
The Board has overall legal responsibility for the governance of Rehab and comprises of at least 10 board members all of which are non-executive directors. Board members serve in a voluntary capacity.
The Board is seeking to appoint up to 6 new members over the next 6 months and ideal candidates will have board experience and/or senior executive experience within one of the following areas; finance, legal, human resources and change management, quality of services, provision of care or education services, experience of dealing with Government Agencies.
Successful candidates will be expected to serve on one of the Boards sub-committees and the annual commitment in terms of time is approx. 20 days per year.
